An Agreement of Scientific Cooperation was signed with the Australian Academy of Science in 1998.

 

In February 2011, as part of her visit to Israel, then president of the Australian Academy, Prof. Suzanne Cory, visited the Israel Academy and met with then Academy president, Prof. Ruth Arnon, and the members of the Academy Council. The discussion considered possible steps to strengthen the links between academia and to expand them.
