Prof. Francesca Levi-Schaffer, The Academy representative to the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPhar), was elected 1st Vice President of the organization at the recent IUPhar General Assembly in Kyoto. For the past four years she has served as a Member of Council and Chair of the Immunopharmacology Section that she initiated.
