On December 31st, the Academy’s Contact Center for Israeli Researchers held its Annual Conference and Career Fair, with special emphasis on practical information for the 300 people who registered for the event. It began with brief practical lectures of the Council for Higher Education, the EU Marie Curie Programmes, the Azrieli Fellows Program, The Center for Integration in Science and Science Abroad and their respective contributions to the integration of returning and immigrant scholars on their way back to research in Israel.

 

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Judith and Dr. Kobi Richter, the founders of MEDINOL, who held the large audience spellbound with their talk about their personal experiences and about their “Integration of Scientists in Industry” at their companies.

 

Following the lectures, the Career Fair opened with 47 stands representing government and national agencies, all Israel’s universities, many academic colleges, several research institutes and many high-tech and bio-tech companies.
