On 24 October 2018, a delegation from the Chinese Academy of Sciences visited the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities to meet with Academy President Prof. Nili Cohen, Vice-President Prof. David Harel and chairperson of the Sciences Division, Prof. Itamar Willner, and Executive Director Ms. Galia Finzi.

 

The delegation was led by Prof. Zhang Yaping, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Science.

 

The two academies, who have enjoyed good relations for the last thirty years, met to explore fields of mutual interest ranging from nanoscience to neuroscience, and to discuss potential future collaborations and joint endeavors.
