The Israel Academy congratulates Academy Member Prof. Sergiu Hart of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem upon his election as Chairperson of the Academy's Humanities Division. Prof. Hart will take office on September 30, replacing current Chairperson Academy Member Prof. Yosef Kaplan, who has been in office since 2013.
