On 17 November 2020, MK Andrey Kozhinov, a member of the Knesset Science and Technology Committee, visited the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities.

 

MK Kozhinov met with Academy President Prof. Nili Cohen to learn about the Academy's activities and to explore avenues for potential future cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.

 

The Israel Academy signed an Agreement for Scientific Cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in 1999, and with the Lithuanian Academy in 2016.
