On November 15, 2021, 2021, Dr. Ting-An Wang, Director of the Science and Technology Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Tel-Aviv, and Secretary of the Division, Mr. Hsufeng Cheng, visited the Israel Academy and met with Academy President Prof. David Harel to discuss scientific cooperation between Taiwan and Israel.

 

An Agreement of Scientific Cooperation was signed with Academia Sinica, Taiwan’s national academy of science, in 1994 and since then a number of bi-national workshops have been held. In November 2018, the vice president of the Academy, Prof. David Harel, participated in the “International Scientific Leaders Forum” in Taipei, marking the 90th anniversary of the Academia Sinica.
