Agreement for Scientific Cooperation signed with The Brazilian Academy of Sciences

On October 24, 2022, The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities signed an agreement for scientific cooperation with the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, with the aim of cultivating and promoting relationships between outstanding scientists from both countries for the mutual benefit of their scientific communities.
 
The agreement is for an initial four years and calls for a Brazilian-Israeli scientific workshop every two years, alternating between Brazil and Israel.

The agreement was signed by Academy Presidents Prof. David Harel and Prof. Helena Bonciani Nader in an online ceremony, attended by the Academy Vice-President Prof. Margalit Finkelberg, Chairperson of Science Division Prof. Yadin Dudai, Vice-President of the Brazilian Academy for the Rio de Janeiro Region Prof. Patricia Torres Bozza, Director of the Brazilian Academy Prof. Maria Domingues Vargas, Executive Director of International Affairs of the Brazilian Academy Marcos Cortesão Barnsley Scheuenstuhl, and Head of International Relations at the Israel Academy Dr. Neta Peretz.
