Prof. Yuldashev Bekhzod Sadykovich, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities on November 2, 2022. He met with Israel Academy President Prof. David Harel and discussed with him possible scientific collaborations between the two Academies and strengthening scientific relations between Israel and Uzbekistan.

 

Prof. Harel and Prof. Sadykovich were subsequently joined by Prof. Margalit Finkelberg, Vice-President of the Israel Academy, Prof. Nili Cohen, former president of the Israel Academy, Galia Finzi, Director of the Israel Academy, Dr. Neta Peretz, Head of International Relations at the Israel Academy, Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT), a native of Uzbekistan who is active in promoting collaborations between the two countries, and H.E. Feruza Makhmudova, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Israel.
