The Israeli Academy and the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences have signed an agreement for scientific cooperation

On February 17, 2023, the Israel Academy of Sciences Humanities and the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences signed an agreement on scientific cooperation in Bern. The agreement was signed by the President of the Swiss Academies, Prof. Marcel Tanner, and the President of the Israeli Academy, Prof. David Harel. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Israeli Ambassador to Switzerland, Yifat Rashef, and other representatives of both countries. The agreement creates new opportunities for knowledge exchange and promotes collaboration between excellent scientists from both countries for the mutual benefit of their scientific communities. This is an important step for the advancement of international science.
 
The Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences consists of four different academies focusing on different scientific fields. They include some of Switzerland's most prominent researchers, who contribute to research initiatives and advise on a range of topics, from health and the environment to science education and innovation policy.
