Prof. David Leigh, a Member of the Royal Society and Sir Samuel Hall Professor of Chemistry at the University of Manchester’s School of Chemistry, was invited by the Israel Academy to give a series of lectures at universities in Israel. His visit is the first to take place in the framework of the cooperation agreement and scientist exchange program between the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Royal Society.

On November 23, 2016, Prof. Leigh took a break from his university lectures to speak with high school students at the prestigious Israel Arts and Science Academy in Jerusalem. After hearing from Prof. Leigh about building small-molecule machines and being regaled by his “magic show,” the enthusiastic students had a chance to put questions to him.
