Dr. Wang is a postdoctoral research fellow in the group of Professor Menny Shalom in the Department of Chemistry at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She received her B.Sc. in 2014 from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China. From 2014 to 2019 she pursued her Ph.D. in the key Laboratory for Liquid-Solid Structural Evolution and Processing of Materials, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shandong University, China.

 

Dr. Wang’s research interests focus on preparing nanostructured electrocatalysts and exploring their potential applications in the field of energy conversion (mainly in proton exchange membrane fuel cells and electrochemical water splitting). She is also working on computational investigation of the catalytic mechanisms for various heterogeneous reactions, including the methanol oxidation reaction, the oxygen evolution reaction and the oxygen reduction reaction.
