Dr. Noam Harel, a distinguished alumna in bioinformatics from Tel Aviv University under the mentorship of Prof. Adi Ster, has been awarded the prestigious Ruth Arnon Postdoctoral Fellowship for 2024.
The Ruth Arnon Postdoctoral Fellowships, specifically for
Adams Fellowships alumnae, were established in 2016 by Prof. Ruth Arnon, former President of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and Chair of the Committee for Furthering Women in Institutions for Higher Education (CHE). Recognizing the unique challenges faced by Israel’s promising young women scientists in securing postdoctoral positions abroad, Prof. Arnon initiated this dedicated fund to provide vital support. Each year, fellowships of $20,000 USD are awarded based solely on research excellence, helping to propel the careers of these exceptional scientists.
Congratulations to Dr. Harel!
