On March 1, 2023 The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences renewed the agreement for scientific cooperation between the two academies.

The agreement was signed by Academy Presidents Prof. David Harel and Prof. Julian Revalski. The ceremony was attended by Vice Presidents Prof. Margalit Finkelberg and Prof. Stefan Todorov Hadjitodorov, representative of the Department of International Affairs at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Tsvetomir Yonchev, Director of the Israel Academy Galia Finzi, and Head of International Relations at the Israel Academy Dr. Neta Peretz.
